Our application process is fairly simple, but very important. 

 

Many diverse influences and recent events have brought the nuances of the employment industry under scrutiny.  Since the 911 tragedy, the passage of Sarbanes-Oxley, and the current economic crisis, the nature of the way we work, live and do business in this country has changed.  Careful identification, verification and due diligence procedures, often relaxed previously, are now an essential part of the modern economy.  We trust that you also recognize the importance of these procedures and can assist us in helping you navigate them as quickly as possible.

 

You can expect the application process to include at least these important steps:

  1. Complete an Employment Application.  This does not replace the submission of your resume.
  2. Schedule an Interview.  This is where you can make your personal presentation.
  3. Arrive on Time for the Interview.  Punctuality shows you respect the process.
  4. Complete an I-9 Form and Present Proof of Eligibility.  The I-9 Form is the single most important form in the process.
  5. Complete Request For Transcript Form.  This release gives us permission to obtain grades and degree verification.
  6. Complete Request For Background Check.  No cost to you, but usually requested by clients in advance.
  7. Employee Handbook Acknowledgement.  This handbook contains assignment policies, procedures and expectations.
  8. Sexual Harrassment Policy Acknowledgement.
  9. At-Will Employment Acknowledgement.
  10. Complete IRS Withholding W-4 Form.  This determines tax withholding instructions for us and the IRS.
  11. Complete Direct Deposit Form.  This usually takes 1 day and makes the payment process easier for you.

Interested applicants should take steps to ensure that we obtain completed copies of these forms to supplement your packet.   In addition, writing samples, school transcripts and references --at least three: two professional and one personal -- are very helpful to us and our clients in best matching what you offer with what they need.  You can send them to us at:

Applications can be downloaded then completed manually, or they can be completed online. To complete the application manually, download the Employment Application PDF Document, enter your information, print and sign the form then send to the address listed above with any additional requested information or materials that you want to be provided.
